Romantic wedding photos in London
Emily and Terry first got in touch with us about photographing their elegant black tie wedding shoot at The Ned during the pandemic. With their original plan to marry overseas in Taiwan postponed into 2022, we organised a sophisticated and modern wedding photoshoot in London together to celebrate their love in the meantime.
Emily had tried on over twenty wedding dresses before finding ‘the one’. She looked absolutely divine in Luna Bea Bride’s La Lune dress – a stylish gown made of soft ethical silk with statement balloon sleeves and seductive low-cut back. Emily paired her dress with Yves Saint Laurent heels and gorgeous pearl earrings from Maison Sabben. Dansk Flowers made the most exquisite minimalist wedding bouquet of pure orchids and Westminster Abbey roses.
Terry looked equally as handsome in black tie. He wore a slick Tom Ford tux and Burberry shoes to compliment. Both Emily and Terry had also custom designed their rings from modern jeweller Rachel Boston Design.
The Ned Wedding Photographer
Emily and Terry wanted their photos to be chic and timeless with an overall modern aesthetic. Together collaborating with mood boards and online inspiration we decided on The Ned and surrounding Bank area for the photoshoot. We began the morning sat in a booth in Millies Lounge and popped the champagne.
We later moved upstairs for photos along the corridors and onto the terrace. The view of St Pauls Cathedral and the surrounding area was absolutely stunning. Chandeliers and antiques line the hallways and ceilings, such a beautiful space!
After taking some modern wedding photos at The Ned we headed outside towards The Royal Exchange and Bank of England. You can feel that this particular area is steeped in history which is why it’s one of our favourite backdrops for weddings in London.
Emily’s dress moved beautifully with the wind as we photographed the two of them together soaking in each moment. You could feel now important this day was for them and how much planning and energy they had poured into it. We had so much fun with these two running around the city capturing their love. We can’t wait to be back here again soon.
