English Country House Wedding – The Rectory Hotel, Cotswolds

Modern Cotswolds Wedding Photography

The Rectory Hotel is the perfect contemporary Cotswolds wedding venue for a countryside escape. Nestled in the heart of Crudwell in Wiltshire, this relaxed and modern Country House is furnished with stylish interiors making it a sophisticated home from home. Cosy corner nooks can be found for guests to mingle whilst sipping on an array of classic cocktails.

Becca and Paz began their morning getting ready separately with their loved ones. Paz and his groomsmen looked incredibly smart in their traditional British dark navy suits from Suit Supply and black brogues to match. They carried the morning festivities down into the quaint English garden as the morning sun began to pierce through the clouds.

Becca and her bridesmaids peeked through the bedroom window watching Paz and his groomsmen fixing each others buttonholes in hilarious fashion. The girls then popped the champagne and sipped on a glass of bubbly together.

We adored the bridesmaids look. They wore contemporary Sleeper Atlanta dresses in white linen with Castaner espadrille wedges to match. Becca wanted something simple and classic but with a twist for her own wedding dress. She found the perfect minimalist column dress covered with sequins from The OWN Studio. Paired with a custom made short veil from Clover London and delicate gold hoops from 14 / Quatorze, she looked incredible.

Becca opted for English flowers in muted pinks and whites. Eleanor from Hibiscus & Hodge created the perfect bouquet to complete the minimal sophisticated look.

Beautiful English Garden Wedding at The Rectory Hotel

The village church is just a stones throw away from the hotel, so Becca walked arm in arm with her father, bridesmaids and flower girls. After an Intimate ceremony with readings and poems, the guests gathered together for confetti, hugs and kisses.

The team at Earth Village Events constructed a modern stretch tent in the middle of the garden at the Rectory Hotel. White cotton linen adorned the long trestle style tables with pink candles and modern stationary. Each guest had a scratch card which was so fun to watch a few people win a small prize.

After Becca and Paz mingled with their guests in the beautiful gardens we took a moment with the wedding party to pop more champagne and enjoy each others company. Everyone was in such good spirts!

You don’t have to go far to capture a collection of gorgeous bride and groom portraits at this Cotswolds wedding venue. We took a stroll around the building to soak in the surroundings before sitting down for dinner.

Guests later moved inside to cheer on Becca and Paz during their first dance sung by the incredible supatight, a band we highly recommend! This summer wedding in the cotswolds was simply a joy to be a part of and we can’t wait to visit The Rectory Hotel again in the near future.
