Alex and Ben’s Hackney Town Hall wedding in London is full of modern details and chic laid back vibes from start to finish. From getting ready at the Town Hall Hotel in Bethnal Green, a beautiful ceremony at Hackney Town Hall’s Committee Rooms to a relaxed pub reception at East London’s The Royal Inn on the Park.
Alex found her incredible dress designed by Lena Medoyeff whilst visiting Heart Aflutter Bridal Boutique in East London. Alex has impeccable timeless style. She effortlessly channelled all of the chic modern bridal vibes with her Fernanda dress, gorgeous hand-sculpted earrings from Lua Studios and delicate lace edge floor length veil from Britten Weddings.
Whilst Alex got ready with her loved ones, Ben was putting on his sharp dark green suit from The Kooples, tie by Fox & Chave and black derby shoes by Arket. Both Alex and Ben wanted a timeless aesthetic paired with pops of colour channeled through the gorgeous blooms by Rebel Rebel and shades of peach for the bridesmaids dresses from Weekday and Silkfred.

Alex and Ben’s wedding was the first time they had seen a lot of their close friends and family since the pandemic hit, so naturally the day was full of love, laughter and hugs. After an emotional ceremony we headed outside the main steps of Hackney Town Hall for confetti and champagne.
Together we took Alex and Ben on a little walk around the area for some relaxed wedding photos in Hackney. We started with Hackney Town Hall as a backdrop because we love it so much and later headed into Victoria Park, which is a very special place for the couple.
Alex and Ben’s biggest wish and vision was to bring everyone they love together in a relaxed environment where they could really enjoy each other’s company. The Royal Inn on the Park was the perfect pub for this and the team were so lovely and helpful on the day.
Relaxed London weddings are our favourite to photograph and it was an absolute joy to be around so many lovely people. The speeches were hilarious, emotional, but mostly full of love and pride for both Alex and Ben and their special relationship together. Capturing these two families come together was a moment we won’t forget.
We smiled behind the camera as guests partied the night away with Alex and Ben to the best Spotify playlist we’ve ever heard at a wedding. It was such a pleasure to be Alex and Ben’s London wedding photographer and we wish them all the love and happiness.
