Stef & Alex’s Old Marylebone Town Hall wedding in London is full of contemporary and stylish details. Fun laid back vibes from the get go.
We met Alex outside the steps of the Town Hall wearing a sharp grey Ralph Lauren suit. As guests began to arrive the excitement for the day quickly began to build. Once everyone had made their way into the Town Hall and found their seats in the Westminster Room, Stef pulled up in a cream London taxi accessories with a bouncy bunch of florals.
Stef fell in love with her chic contemporary wedding dress after visiting Story Of My Dress Bridal in Kent. She paired it beautifully with gorgeous gold ruffled shoes from Loeffler Randell and a colourful bouquet by The Wild Society. With the sun out and her Ray-Bans on, Stef effortlessly channeled the cool London bride look.
Stef and Alex’s ceremony was a beautiful celebration shared with their loved ones, with personalised readings and so much joy. We absolutely love those first moments with the bride and groom after the ceremony. Spending a few minutes with the couple inside The Old Marylebone Town Hall while the guests gather on the front steps for confetti is always such a highlight. It’s incredibly important to take 5 minutes alone together once you’re married just to say to each other ‘We did it!’.
Modern Wedding Photos In London with reception at The Depot No.7
Confetti on the iconic front steps of The Old Marylebone Town Hall is so epic, especially when there are huge great big handful of confetti flying into the air showering the couple. Stef + Alex had the biggest smiles as they made their way down the stairs, such joy!
The Old Marylebone Town Hall is the perfect venue for modern wedding photos which is why it’s one of our favourite wedding venues in London. The grand pillars and domed features, the staircases and hallways are the perfect backdrop. After the ceremony we walked around the building together making the most of the city streets and jumped into a London taxi, while the guests made their way to The Depot on a classic red London bus.
The florist had transformed the downstairs dining area of The Depot with a beautiful arrangements of flowers on each table, bright pops of colour and candlesticks to compliment. Personalised stationery using old photographs of the couple and decorative ‘Stef + Alex’ bunting made it even more special. We love to take our couples into their reception space and take a few photos as they see their vision come to life before the guests join to celebrate.
The rest of the day was spent enjoying Aperol Sprtiz and delicious canapés with their favourite people. It’s always so lovely to see family members catching up or meeting for the first time, but it was made even more special after not seeing each other during Covid. The Depot was the perfect wedding reception venue for a gentle relaxed environment. Relaxed London weddings are our favourite to photograph and it was an absolute joy to be around so many lovely people.
The evening ended with cutting the incredible April’s Bakery cake, drinking espresso Martini’s and dancing into the night. Absolutely one of the best days!
